A teacher in New York was teaching her class about bullying and gave them the following exercise to perform. She had the children take out a piece of paper and told them to crumple it up, stomp on it and really mess it up, not to rip it. Then she had them unfold the paper, smooth it out and look at how scarred and dirty it was. She then told them to tell it they're sorry. Now, even though they said they were sorry and tried to fix the paper, she pointed out all the scars they left behind. And that those scars will never go away no matter how hard they tried to fix it. Not really for me though! So another little update. Today my story today iis about Anime North... in which I pre-registered a couple months ago but as this weekend drew nearer my excitement diminished more and more. To the point that I just didn't want to go anymore this weekend. I went yesterday, I was pretty miserable and crabby and the weather was just awful. Definitely not good company. I also was so ready not to go today either, but my brother wanted to buy some books for a friend and at AN they are pretty cheap. Hey hey, thought I'd write a quick journal! I'm still around, just busy busy~ lots of things have changed. I've made a big decision at the end of 2010 and I'm only moving forward now (: Really not drawing all that much anymore though. Drawing was something that was very personal for me, but as I tried to pursue a college education in it (and possibly a career) - it ended up killing it for me. So I'm taking a break for a while and working on other things. If anything in the future I may just stick to what I enjoyed the most; character and costume design. So you may see some of that pop up.
